upstairs at the George closes on 30th August
The upstairs team are grateful for the opportunities that have arisen through working at The George and will be moving on to other projects.
Thanks to Camphill Village Trust for our tenure since April 2010. We have enjoyed the challenge of putting on exhibitions alongside a lively and successful programme of poetry, talks, walks, films and music.
The gallery room lends itself beautifully to diverse exhibitions and has afforded a unique space in the Forest of Dean. Thank you to Darly for the help and support we have received from the Café staff and volunteers.
Thank you to all artists who have generously contributed work and to everyone who has been our audience during this time.
We look forward to inviting you to projects in other places.
An archive of exhibitions, events and concerts at The George from April 2010 to August 2011 will remain on this website.
